©® We decided NOT to apply for a utility patent, but for a copyright instead. Copyrights are almost guaranteed, but patents are not. A patent would not apply because there was little novelty, and instead the was only a different use of existing technology. A patent does not exactly fit.

Another reason was the price. A patent was $5000, and a copyright was only $500.

Also, I did this for fun, and not for commercial gain. Commercialism would only spoil the adventure.
