Pills:

I take medication pills twice a day. Here is the 10:16 notice, or the Morning Notice.
The notice itself only occurs one time, at 10:16.

But with this notice and some others, I have to Acknowledge the initial notice. I may be outside, or perhaps I have already taken the pills. I can not engore it. In any case, the Acknowledge Notice repeats every six minutes untill I hit F2 on the keyboard.

This type of repeating Notice, which is repeated every six minutes is not critical, and is not that time sensitive. This type of notice is more casual. In contrast, a different type of Alarm is more urgent. This urgent alarm Notice is repeated every minute, and is very time sensitive. My pills belong to the 6-Minute group. The "6-Minute" notation was invented by me decades ago, and is called the "Long Minute".

Here are some personal notes on Losartan for my use:
'_______________________________Losartan ______________________________
'Losartan can raise your, Element-K, Potassium levels.
'Losartan (The "Vessel Relaxer")
'Losartan Class: ARB (Angiotensin II Receptor Blocker).
'Losartan How it works: It blocks a chemical In your body (Angiotensin II) that normally causes blood vessels To tighten And narrow. By blocking it, your blood vessels stay relaxed And open.
'Losartan Why it matters: This allows blood To flow more easily, which reduces the "pressure" against the walls Of your arteries.
'Losartan The Dose(25mg): This Is the standard starting dose for Losartan.
'Losartan Side Effects: Dizziness, high potassium

'Other Dialators:
'Niacin caused them to dilate further (vasodilation).
'Magnesium relaxed the smooth muscles of the vessels even more.
'Exercise openes vessels further for the muscles.

'Losartan Do not take with Niacin or Magnesium.

I take medication pills twice a day. Here is the 21:16 notice; The Evening Notice. The notice itself only occurs one time, at 21:16. Magnesium is taken just before bed. It aids sleep. In contrast, the D3 is like Sunshine, aids the biorythem, and is taken in the Morning to aid waking. Also, D3 can not be taken without K2. D3 helps Calcium absorption. And K2 helps keep Calcium out of your blood vessels , which contributes to cardiovascular disease.

If I don't take my pills, or don't at least acknoledge that I took them, then every six minutes I get one of these Notices. This one is for Morning pills, but you get the idea.

'_____________________________ Metoprolol __________________________________
'Metoprolol: Lowers BP and Heart Rate.
'Metoprolol (The "Heart Governor")
'Metoprolol Class: Beta-Blocker.
'Metoprolol How it works: It blocks the effects Of adrenaline (epinephrine). This makes your heart beat more slowly And With less force.
'Metoprolol Why you feel it: This Is likely why your pulse was 85 even when your BP dropped—the Metoprolol was keeping your heart from racing even faster to compensate.
'Metoprolol The Dose(12.5mg): half Of a 25mg tablet. This Is a very low, "baby" dose, often used To stabilize heart rhythm Or provide a gentle baseline For blood pressure.
'Metoprolol Side Effects: Fatigue, cold hands, slow pulse
'Metoprolol Usually, people notice the "Metoprolol fatigue" more than any side effect from Losartan. Make Evening?
'Metoprolol Often used to prevent migraines.
EYEBALL-Anam.gif, 16kB In the medicine cabinet, I have two sets: Morning and Evening. After I finish a set, I turn a bottle upside down, in that set. A "set" is either on the left or right. In years past, and before I turned a bottle upside down, I never could remember if I took my pills or not. It used to happened almost every day. I would drive Linda crazy too, because she is not responsible for my pills. It was a real problem, and a serious problem. Now two things help prevent both double dosing and no dosing. One, of course, is the program. And the other is the habit of turning a bottle upside down when I replace it on the shelf. In the picture, you can tell that I have taken the morning pills.

It is comforting to know that I have left a secret "note" to myself, and that I was in the medicine cabinet. It was me.

Without the Secretary Program, even this method could fail. It could fail if I missed two sets of pills, and it would be the next day. But the Secretary reminds me every six minutes, and the nagging can not be tolerated more than an hour, much less a whole day.

Another advantage of themes, especially when it comes to medications: With a musical theme, playing in the background, even if playing low without hearing the words; I can hear from far away. Human brains are great at deciphering a song at low levels, without hearing the words, or all of the notes. More times than not, I have heard the faint song coming from the computer room, and knowing it is time to take pills. Themes are becoming more useful than I thought.
